The Business Community

Businesses in Norwich have the opportunity to flourish and thrive, with a tight-knit community of business owners. Many of our independent businesses use local suppliers for their food, materials or services, and with so many networking groups and support organisations, it’s no wonder.

Local restaurant owner, Jahangir said: “I’ve travelled around the country and nowhere really appeals to me as much as Norwich does. You can walk down the road and people say hello to you. You don’t get that same response in bigger places. The community feel is great for business, especially where I’m based on Magdalen Street. I get a lot of support from other shop owners. Norwich is the perfect place to be setting up a new business right now. The potential is there for anyone to do well. In terms of more innovative businesses, especially in the hospitality sector, it’s a good place to get started.”
